The Team covers all aspects of international trade matters, both transactional and contentious, including all issues arising out of the international sale and carriage of goods by sea, bills of lading, charterparties, international payment mechanisms (including letters of credit), trade finance, export control, sanctions, and energy trading.

We have a wealth of experience in both London and international arbitration. Our specialist Team focuses on all types of arbitration references, including those governed by the rules of the LMAA, FOSFA, GAFTA, HKIAC, LOF, LCIA, ICC, LME, RSA, SAOL, SIAC, CEPAMI, CIETAC, ICSID, CMAP, ICE, BIR and DIS. In addition, Team members regularly manage cases in the Moscow Arbitration Court, as well as the International Commercial Arbitration Courts of Chambers of Commerce of the Ukraine, Russian Federation, and other CIS countries.

The Team specialises in the management of litigation internationally, as well as in the enforcement of judgements and arbitration awards in the UK as well as in overseas jurisdictions. We also conduct and manage negotiations, pre-trial settlements, ad hoc arbitration, mediation, early neutral evaluation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Our longstanding experience in our practice areas have provided us with a unique insight into our clients' business, and this allows us to offer practical, quick and commercially realistic solutions.
